I need a piece of FRP or carbon fiber (preferably FRP because it's

cheaper) about 3 inches by 5 inches or a little smaller, and 3-4mm thick. I can pay by

you can buy frp plate from mc greagor industries(search the net its on there!)

i got mine from steve webbs models and hobbies in frodsham near chester,cheshire,uk

he sells it for about £7 a sheet 10" by 8" 3 mm thick

Yes, I am! I found Geagor Industries, but they only sold FRP in pieces

many times bigger than what I needed, and many times more expensive! Do

you have what I'm looking for?

Fingerprints are fine; in fact they're desireable if they'll lower the

price[]! I don't need quite that much, but that's a minor issue. I

live in the USA.

Depends what you're using it for, but most of the time FRP can be substituted with fibreglass printed-circuit boards - available at your local electronics outlet.

Comes in lots of (small) sizes; comes with copper layer which helps sheild RF too! [] no it doesn't add much weight, if you're really concerned just give it a bath in etching fluid... ie making a 'blank' PCB.
