what is the motor and battery mah limit for a msc

i still have one of my cars with a msc, and was woundering what battery and motor these can safely handle before they catch fire lol.

I have run really hot motors with MSC's.  as long as your running in top speed you won't have many problems, it's running in the lower speeds where the resistor heats up to the point of melting things and breaking apart.

thanks for the reply, i have a 14 turn motor with no esc that will run it so thats why i woundering about putting it in my baja champ with a msc. just need to work out witch pinion gear to use with this motor.

19 tooth with stock gear set is what I'd recommend, Baja Champs seem to require a lot of torque. Use the motor's high RPMs to your advantage, else you risk overheating stuff.

im usein a 14 turn motor with msc and 2200 batt and it aint blown up yet lol ............ dose get proper hot tho
