8316dart 1 Posted March 10, 2007 Used to drive a 1995 Tahoe....pretty unusual in the UK....trouble is those that drive the mobile chicanes (BMW's) did not seem to appreciate how fast it went and were always in the way. On reflection, they are always in the way! The new model looks very well. If that's my 'Vette you are referring to, the colour was known as 'Steel Cities Grey' in 1971. tarznatz 0 Posted March 10, 2007 ah yes, i thought it might be silver, but the angle gave it that moss port look - maybe its my monitor. Anyway, here's a pic of my father in law's stingray...

Tamiya1/10 382 Posted March 15, 2007 This is my 1994 UK Toyota Celica GT4 ST-205 WRC in Storm Blue *RARE* She was 248bhp as standard when i got her at 19, now im 21 she is running about 350bhp but wil soon be pushing around the 450bhp mark with a forged engine rebuild and new turbo![] Not very familiar with your GT4, is it 4wd, rwd or fwd? You are pushing some serious HP and will be looking at some exotic / high end car from your rear view mirror.
rc-martin 218 Posted March 15, 2007 Six years ago i used to drive a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R, but unfortunatley had to go when i bought a house. This is a picture of me checking my brake pads out on a track day at Donnington. 2.0 litre Turbo 4wd 230bhp
Chupa1uk 0 Posted March 16, 2007 Hold onto your hats guys............. I have a Mitsubishi Carisma 16v 1.8i, its like a baby Evo! LOL! Joking, although it is a pretty good car for running around in and it was free off my Dad when he got his Passat. He only gave it me so I cant ask to lend the Passat, its a V6 TDi that could do with a good running! LOL! I also have a 1973 VW Beetle 1300 in the garage in a bad way. I plan to restire her this year (although I have little knowledge really on car restoration, just going to see what I can do), I hope I do, just hoping she isnt too far gone. TA-Mark 195 Posted May 29, 2007 I have 3 cars, my daily driver is a 1978 Ford Escort coupe. 1.6Ltr kent with 45mm weber. I restored it from a $100 wreck about 12 years ago. It spends as much time sideways on dirt (lots of dirt roads around here to play on) as it does driving straight up the road. My weekend toy is a 1978 Ford Cortina TE (Mk4) highly modified. The Aussie Cortina's were a very different beast from the rest of the world. This one came factory with a 4.1Ltr inline 6cyl (same engine as a Ford Falcon). Mine has a modified '96 5.0Ltr Mustang V8 engine, 5-speed manual and 9" rear diff fitted, Ford Falcon 4 wheel disc brakes. 300Kw (Flywheel) in 1185kg... Nice handful... 11.4sec 1/4mile time. All the work on the 2 previous cars I did myself. My 3rd car is the family car. 1992 Pajero (Montero) GLS V6 Petrol 7 seater. Basicly it's our shopping trolley and kiddy taxi. Sees a bit of offroad and beach use come holiday time. I even bought it from eBay... HaHaHa. I think I should paint this one yellow too.

Jak Rizzo 6 Posted July 2, 2007 Heres my toy. It's a 1971 Volkswagen Superbug with a Subaru WRX (impreza) motor up it's bum. I've had it for almost 16 years now & it's the only car I've owned, sad huh? It's daily driven, has 150kw (201hp) @ the wheels on only 8 psi boost & is about 470kg lighter than a WRX (Impreza) LOTS of fun. Goes better than the 2275cc twin webbered vw engine I last built, is very quiet & very fuel efficient. I love it! regards Jak http://www.superbeetlesonly.com/forum/inde...md=sc&cat=

kiwiscanfly 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Entirely too many vehicles for me, both 1/1 scale, and 1/10 scale. Purchased today, delivered later this week. 2006 Suzuki SJ50, last years model that didn't sell off the lot, so a bit cheaper. Going to be the daily commuter, due to parking becoming very difficult around work. 1992(?) Toyota Starlet, previous daily driver, and weekend autocross warrior. 1988 Toyota MR2 supercharged manual. Saturday sunny day car, and occasional race car. Raced it on Sunday. MR2's are a handful on a wet track ... big third gear powerslides were the order of the day. Petrolhead 0 Posted July 2, 2007 Hearing the words MR2, race and wet I thought it was time for me to jump in. We got a Mk1 MR2 race car a few months ago (non-supercharged) that we stripped and race prepared. I'll be racing it next year in the MR2 Challenge up and down the country, too young this year. Anyway, did a track day at Donington in it not long ago in the pouring rain. Made for a lot of very interesting sideways moments. Anyone that knows Donington knows the Craner Curves and how important it is to keep on the track there. Well, I managed to keep it on the track there, only just mind. Got a video of all the main moments with me driving, including the Craner moment, here: Couple of pics: Donington Track Day: Silverstone Track Day: Inside the MR2: It's a sublimley handling car, and is very smooth and driftable in the wet. Cheap as chips, too, and I'm looking forward to racing it.
