Has anyone with the Porsche 934 kit had any luck in obtaining the body colour?

A couple of weeks ago I asked my local model shop if they could get this for me.  Today the shop told me that they had been told by the Hobby Company that there was no intention of importing this colour.  Nice!  And just typical of the UK importer [:@]

Looks like it's gonna have to be ebay or the far east yet again.

Me too Chris. I've been trying to get hold of it from Japan, but it will have to come by surface mail and there seems to be limited stock.

Interesting. They will have to start importing the colour if they plan on selling any of the Tamtech Gear 934 kits as they use the same colour.

 Who did you ask?? Ring the Newark shop and ask for Steve (oldish guy,beard,not much hair!!) he owns Access and would be able to give you a definite answer, IF it is imported to the UK then I would say they'll get it for you as Access are usually very good on special orders!!

The guy at Grantham spoke to the guy at Newark whilst I was in the shop, so I think I have the definite answer.  Access have always been helpful, but they are being handicapped by Hobby Co in this case.

As terry.sc said, latest when the TTG 934 comes out, this green will be widely available, so don't worry.

PS54 is definitely coming to the UK, as it's on my Back-Order from the Hobby Company.

Paint though has to come by surface, and the kits were air lifted.  This is the reason for the delay I'd think.
