POLYCARBONATE BODY SHELL PAINT FINISHING

HI NOT TOO GOOD WHEN IT COME TO PAINTING POLYCARBONATE SHELLS, DONE THE BASE COLOUR AND THOUGHT I HAD SEEN SOMEWHERE THAT YOU SPRAY WHITE OR BLACK TO FINISH SOMEHOW. CAN ANYONE HELP.

Hi,

 first of all, please don't write in all capital letters as it means you are shouting at us.

Then: you can either finish with white, silver or black. Each will give a different finish as it lightens or darkens the outer colour. Silver seems to be the best solution to keep it in the middle. It will also help prevent sunlight shining through.

I finished the swift body with white (was also the second colour anyhow) and it has made the red really stand out.

Yeah its red allright (Tamiya PS2 iirc), might be coming out a bit odd with my camera under artificial light. Will try and get some shots in daylight one day. Thanks for the compliment though.
