speedsecret 0 Posted December 31, 2006 last Friday my bruiser start to click from his old tranny . i opened the tranny to found out the cause for the noise and then i realize that my spur gear have seen better days i will like to know how hard is to find spur like this today? didn't find it on eBay ... are the blazer hilux spur will fit too? i already know about the USA -1 spur but i cant find him too for now i replace the original spur with a midnight pumpkin spur and its work only in 1st and low gears thanks for the halp tom Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Call me Keith 0 Posted January 1, 2007 Screw the two pieces together using three little 2mm screws and nuts and you'll be good to go. Otherwise start looking on ebay for a new one, which will be $40-50 usd or just buy an entire spare tranny for $75-$125. Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

billg4 25 Posted January 1, 2007 yeah the hilux/blazer is a smaller size, and more rare too the above mentioned drill and screw method will work if it's just slipping, but if the teeth are worn just buy a used usa1, doubledare or big brute all use the same gearbox Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
