1/8 Wild Crusher Z

Anybody know anything about this factory assembled kit? It looks like a Wild Commando/Terra Crusher but with a different body.

It was released on 18 December and could be limited edition, as Tamiya's Japan site gives only a release date without any further info

It is for sale in Japan, maybe its another Japanese exclusive?

Its uses the new Nissan 350Z body, also sold with 58287 TL-01 http://www.tamiya.com/english/products/58287z/z.htm

If you ask me a very ugly combination, am happy if it won't go into production.

Theo, the 350Z body for the TL01 is 1/10 scale whereas the Wild Crusher 350Z body is 1/8 scale! However, I agree, it's an ugly combination.

Did they want to go into the troulbe to make a second mould for something so ugly? The bodies look so similar that I thought they are the same as it doesnt even fit well on the 1/8. Well, live and learn []
