where are the tlt's in the uk ????

got a friend who wants to buy a tlt-1 to slowly evolve into a scale crawler, so he set of on his quest to buy one, trouble is he cant find any

 is there a secret underground sorce of tlt's, have they stopped making them, what is the story???

Usually plenty for sale on ebay, do a search on the Tamiya kit number

There are plenty if you don't live in the UK

www.thecrawlerstore.com sell the blue one for $90 plus shipping (shipping around $40) which works out to about £70 plus another £15 ish for import charges.

There's even a couple of US stores selling them for $70, but they don't export, so you'll need a friendly american to forward it to you.

 

The UK stores are really missing out on this 'new wave' of TLT demand - last one I saw (red one) advertised in a shop was £120!

Get yer mind out of that gutter (and get mine too, while you're at it!)

 I picked mine up on the 'Bay, from a hobby store in New York, and it still worked out cheaper than getting it from anywhere in the UK.
