Speed and pricing Question!!!

Hi,

I have recently purchased a tamiya esc TEU-302BK for my tl01b baja king for £23.50 on ebay. I also purchased the official ball bearing set at £22 some cva shocks at £8 and a 3000mAH battery at £15.

I am looking to purchase an upgraded motor and maybe another esc.

What i want to know is what do others recommend for a decent motor, esc and gearing etc in order for me to do this.

I am looking to spend between £50-100.

have a look thru this topic 19t motor and esc are mentioned hope it helps.

i would stick with the 19tooth pinion to start with maybe pick up a speed tuned gearing hopup (more speed less acceleration)if u just want more speed

According to Tamiyas specs the 302 BK esc is rated to 23t motors!!

So your gonna need a new esc if you go the 19t route!!

A 27T 24Degree stock is what you need, try the Trinity P2K (about £27 UK)

It will go straight in on standard gearing and should give your nice new ESC no trouble at all.
