Hey Everyone,

I was reading through my hopeless effort to do a TC meet out here in Phoenix and thought how cool it would be to have a TC meet at TamiyaCon in April.  When I was out there last April they only had one guy out on the r/c track doing demos and hardly anybody was even watching.  The only club out there was the tank club from Rancho Cucuomonga (i probably spelled that wrong --Sorry -B) )  I am joining the tank club so I will be bringing my M4 out but I think it would be really awesome if we were running our vintage stuff on the track!  What a sight it would be and we could do something that has not been done yet for the public or other r/c people that have never seen an older model run.  When I visited last year the pits area only had the tank club and some r/c equipment from Tamiya for the r/c demos so it was fairly clear for a at least a typical TCS race crowd.  Although I think there might be around 15 to 20 of us for the showing depending on how this is received.  Other than meeting the only thing that we would need is permission from Tamiya for the visit and to use thier track in between thier r/c demos.  Last years demo was typically one model running and maybe five onlookers.  The track rules are only tamiya products so we have to keep our other makes at home and I think nitro models might be out of the question since the event going on behind for the tank battle would be drowned out by the noise.  Also no generators might be a good idea but they have electricity available in the pits.  We could all meet for the two days or just Saturday or Sunday.  Whichever would work best for everyone and whatever Tamiya permits.  We would probably just run as a open ended fun run like in the UK on TC club with no offical racing rules, no timers and no transponders.  It could be just a walk up, check that your frequency is not being used and go for it.  We could even run races for similar classes ie: buggy, truck, sedans, minis.  Well let me know what you guys think and this might be really great for exposure for the club and to show off the old vintage models.  We could so some great video footage and maybe put up a banner to show support for the club.  I would like to hear everyone's input, ideas, etc.  Please let me know through this post for everyone to see or
