King Cab / Hilux, Differences/buying info/price?

Hi,

 I always wanted a king cab when i was younger and am now looking to buy one as i've almost finished my TB-02R/Corrado body project.

Whats the difeerence between the knig cab and hilux? is it just body/wheels/front tyres or is there more?

Any advice on what sort of price they go for either NIB, new built or used?

What problems do they suffer from, any difficulty in getting replacement parts?

You pretty much listed all the differences. The hilux also uses different body mounts all around. They come with king cab ones as well but they don't get used. Replacement parts are fairly easy to get. Especially on ebay. Original King Cab bodies are the hardest to get, Hilux bodies aren't as difficult but still getting few and far between. Hilux Front tires are everywhere. But Hilux rears (King Cab all 4) are extremely difficult to find. They come up once in a while for high prices. If you're just using it for a runner, all the parts to keep it running are fairly common to find. It's just the few parts to make a 100% correct box art Hilux - King Cab which are hard to source.
