I'm after some new battery packs for my touring car since my Sanyo 3600s seem to be lacking punch and duration even after cycling, the batterys are good enough for bashing but not racing.

I'm after some 6-cell stick packs, have to be stick because my TA04-TRF chassis doesn't accept side-by-side packs unless anyone knows of a mod.

Anyway I've seen some Ansmann Racing 7.2v NiMH 3700mAh Battery Packs and LRP HYPER PACK 3600mah Battery Packs for around £30. Which would be the best to go for, I'd want a couple of packs, I know the LRPs use VTEC cells but know nothing about Ansmann.

Dont bother with the ansmann packs even if they are dirt cheap, really not much cop i had two and chucked them out total waste, no punch, no power! sorry to be doom and gloom. stay clear of the carson packs aswell, even worse!

Agree with above, GP and Intellect make currently the best packs, in the past it was Sanyo, some LRP ones are ok and better stay away from cheap ones like Carson, Ansmann etc, its like most in the end, you get what you pay.

Cheers guys !

Performance is very important as I'll be racing with them, but unfortunatly I'm limited to stick packs in my TA04-TRF chassis. I'll spend more if needed [:)]
