Check out the cowboy from HK - you know the one - AU$183. Pretty cheap compared with 20 years ago. LOL

Being a VW fan, I'm waiting for the Beetle to appear courtesy of Stella.

Well - I guess it is out as I just bought one from HONGKONG_cowboy for £101 delivered off the bay..... [:P][H][<:o)][<:o)]

I've bought from him before and he delivers fast and is reliable - probably could have got a bit cheaper if I waited, but I want one now!

Im surprised no one has mentioned this yet

I

guess Stella doesn't have any from the first run then, as that isn't

mentioned / photographed on their page.  Dang, I guess those will

become collectors items pretty quick!

I wasn't expecting it to be

out so soon, I'd promised myself this truck as soon as I'd heard about

the forthcoming re-re, but despite getting a bit of money for my

birthday I've ended up rather short of cash this month (and started

carpet-racing too, just had to lay out a lot of money on racing bits!)

Oh,

the pain, do I continue to save for my Corrally RDX in 2 months, or do

I blow some more of my hard-borrowed credit on a new Brat shelfer?

GRRRRR!!!

I ordered mine from HK Cowboy, so if it turns out to be one of those, I'll be very happy - As I plan to run it though, it'll mean buying another one to run so I can keep the chrome one for the shelf!! [:o]

If you look closely to the chassis on a picture of the Brat it doesn't look like the ordinary chassis. It seems that it has round metal bars instead of the normal plastic moulding.

Does anyone agree?

I am afraid those who buy the new Brat kits from Hong Kong sellers expecting silver chassis in them would be disappointed.  I don't think the first run cars were exported officially to the external market [:(] Besides check out the their item descriptions in eBay. None of them from HK mentioned about first run cars or silver chassis.  Thought I should point it out as I was too surprised not too many members seem to be very keen to get one with the silver chassis. So when it says "metal plated parts" does this mean metal parts that are plated or plastic parts that are plated with metal(plastic chroming)?

I'm a little confused[*-)]
