I was doing what I usually do at work, cruise through eBay, when I spotted this item..

Just cut that hole in the lexan and there is no need for a decal that looks like an intercooler.. You got the real thing!

I checked out the website... Good for brushed AND brushless!! What more do you want?!

Power output chart.. Pretty good.

Now this is an impressive chart.. That is a considerable operating temperature drop.

The price is on the site, and considerably cheaper than when it first came out. It does keep the motor cooler over a race disance compared to the peltier pre-coolers as well. Developed to keep motors cool, right now national champioship racing costs a fortune in motors which are regularly destroyed due to excess heat. Relatively cheap, considering racers will spend more than that in tyres at a big meeting.

I wouldn't mount it up front behind the shell though, first accident and it would be wrecked.

It should be able to fit inside a Dark Impact, it was tested inside a Predator X10 and worked very well. The only problem could be the pipework fouling the gearbox brace above the motor.

Just had look at my DI and I think it may be a bit tight. If I got one I think mr demel may have to a bit of feteling to get it to all fit.

But its a small price to pay for the bulsheiest peace of kit ever made for an rc car. []

sorry for the ignorance, but wouldn't the extra weight sort of negate the cooling effect, or even with the weight of the system, the overall power increase is more?- certainly looks the business!- awesome!

Dont be silly it doent matter if it doesn't add much to the perfomance it looks cool. I dout it weighs that much any way, its all alloy and shiny bits.

But to onest if it makes an 80 quid motor last longer, and gives me more power its all good with me.
