I would think about using those designed for monster trucks and buggies both new and reproduction. A quick search on the forums and ebay should bring something up.

A good source of retro styled chrome grille/bumper mounted spotlights can be found on old Bburago 1/18 scale vintage cars. These can be picked up very cheaply (especially if they are well played with) at car boot sales, charity shops etc and the headlights are perfect!

I had a set glued to the bumper on my Beetle and I put a dab of clear blue paint into the middle of them to make them look like the 60's Raydot lights. They looked ace!!! [8D]

Definately get a Tamiya Mini though, they are brilliant and so fast [:0] Once you get used to the very pointy steering they can out-perform ANY other 540 powered Tamiya saloon [;)]

Have to second getting a Mini, Helluva fun... I made the spotlights for mine from the Midnight Pumpkin spots, but in my BMW Mini Project, I have used the spotlights from an old vintage model kit to get more scales spots. I did consider my diecasts, but didnt want to spoil it, so couldnt bring myself to prize them off. Good idea about buying some from a car boot.....

Hey Justin... Race Ya [;)]
