Just got some new Acoms radio gear, problem is... there seems to be some interference between the channels, when I move the stick far left on channel 1 (steering) it causes channel 2 to respond and my car starts to move backwards. never had this happen before with any other radio set, could this be a dud ?

Any ideas ?

That is odd! Assuming you have everything set up properly (ESC on correct channel) then you might have a dud. I'd toss an email at Acoms about it, or take it back to the hobby shop you bought it from.

Most hobby shops are happy to do exchanges for you if you have a defective item, they'll give you a new one from stock and do the exchange with the manufacturer themselves.

Yup, It's all set up correctly and it's all brand new, it still works but it's annoying, only get this if the car is stationary, ie, if there's no competing signal from the correct channel.

I tried some other transmitters and it works fine with them so I'm guessing that's where the fault lies.

The only Acoms website I found was... The American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons (ACOMS)... Hmmm

I had a look around, it seems Acoms is one of those companies you can't easily find and their systems all go through resellers.

So...  I'd recommend you take it back to the hobby shop and test a new one to see if it has the same problem.
