Looks like a good movie year;

Shrek 3 and Spidey 3, Balls of Fury looks a crack too, Fantastic Four/Silver Surfer, Ghost Rider - Just need Captain America now and I'm happy [H]

Hot Fuzz looks mental (ly deranged) too []

Also, been surfing and found about some rumours of Hugh Jackman starring in "Wolverine".

Apparantley, its in his contract with Marvel, that if he wants to star in a superhero movie, it must be a Marvel based film/character.

The film, should chronicle the whole "Weapon X" program, all the early stuff before the X-men.

Fingers crossed it gets the go ahead, but no confirmation yet, will keep all Marvel nuts informed as/when i hear more!

As to Spielberg's robots in disguise, is it my imagination in the trailers or is Optimus Prime looking suspiciously like a Bullhead, even down to the blue and flamey paintwork?

If so... Next question - who can engineer my Bullhead to turn into Optimus Prime because that would be the COOLEST thing ever!!!

Im to young to remember the transformers TV series but Im definetly going to see the film. The trialer looks insane I think Im going to be on the edge of my seat watching that.

And then someone will say its not a Kenworth its a Peterbilt, and the flames are different shaped, and new Optimus is obviously a modern truck, and it doesn't have monster wheels, and and and... []

 

More importantly, what was the difference between the hero Autobots and the baddy Decepticons? Apart from being good/evil of course. Did one lot have flying machines and the others didn't? The cartoon series is so old I can't remember from my childhood.

Yes , in the original series , the Autobots were primarily all land based vehicles . While the Decepticons had a handful of airborne baddies . The main three being Starscream , Thundercracker , and Skywarp . The three attack jets from the original series .
