I have a choice, the space left for me in my shipping box to Australia is very low.

i can get a re-re Brat, re-re VW beetle and 4 TX/RX/amp sets (minus TX, too bulky)

OR

I can get the brat, VW and a TNX 5.2R or a Savage 3.5SS (or something) or E-Savage.

What do my esteamed friends (pun) think?

more radio sets, so I can run more cars anytime, or one big, fast, motha sucking gas truck that probably will break down every time I run it, or the simple elegant electric twin truck )think E-maxx) (there is an EP RC boat in the mix as well ) :)

BTW, I quit my job, so no positive cash flow.

do nothing. send me your money and when you get to australia, i'll send you some goodies from the states. We have tons of Liberty statues here that sing the national anthem.

I'd unpack the kits into their parts, and send yourself the lexan bodies by post.... that way, you can pack so much more into the box. I'd also unpick the staples in the kit boxes, to pack them in flat.

I would probably get the kits as the price differential on them seems to be greater than the price difference between the electronics.

But I wouldn't get a gas truck (it just isn't my thing) and would substitute it for some thing electric or even the boat.

cheers, yeah, I was thinking maybe an E-maxx would be better

what do you mean by price difference on electronics? I have yet to find a set online with an ESC for under $120... that is a big enough price difference for me.

I like the idea of the kyosho airstreak 500, or Bluestreak 800 the 800 is longer.

they sell here for about $149 RTR

ESC's are more expensive in Oz than Japan but I have seen up Tamiya TEU 101BK's for AU$35-50 and I have got Mtronics 20T ESC's for AU$60 (with basic radio AU$135).

Id pack a TT01D and the raybriz 05 as 180 ish dollars difference is a tidy profit and also those boxes arent the largest that tamiya have made for a kit [;)] so pack em low and sell em high I think is the order to the day.

Just as long as you bring one for me, nice and cheap...... .go for it!

I never have enough space for stuff for anyone else when I come back from holidays in Japan.  I had so much Tamiya kits and parts (15-20kg) that my girlfreind and I had to post most of our clothes home as the new toys came with me on the plane.[:D]

I should take a VW and a Brat. And definately NOT a Savage, I hate them, they're so weak...

hmmmm.

I think you need to see one of my all alloy bling savages. The only plastc parts are the servos (all metal gears tho) and the radio box.

Not much savage I know but as strong as an FG mine has sustained a 20 foot drop which it absorbed without any damage at all.

I'll post images in my showroom shortly
