Rusty2903 0 Posted February 16, 2007 Hi, Right you lot, yet again i need some advice!! I have just recieved a set of King Blackfoot "chrome" wheels, these, i'm hoping, can be modified to fit my MB. Does anyone know how to "convert" them to fit the MB fitments? Cheers, Russ
Guest joelvardy Posted February 16, 2007 I had the same problem!! (never solved it so didn't do what I intended LOL) what I heard though was put in the ball bearing and fill the edges with putty / glue I don't know how well it would work with only one bearing though? here is a pic
modelmaniac 0 Posted February 16, 2007 I think you will need wheel converters, ( sorry to sound so obvious!!) I converted my Red Lunchbox to go from std LB wheels to hex fitting HPI wheels. The converters/adaptors i used were included with the wheels, but im not sure if they are available to buy on their own. Heres a pic of my Lunchbox Rear axle after the conversion. http://www.tamiyaclub.com/pictureframe.asp...006175052_5.jpg Hope this helps.
