Well I have some very sad news. I just looked on the tamiya USA website and bot TLTs are now discontinued.[:'(]. This is a sad day for rock crawlers and scale biulders alike.

I have seen this on items before and I e-mail Tamiya, they said that if it says that it is discontinued then it is usually that they are out of stock in the tamiya warhorse.

Joel - but obviously the other option is that they really are discontinued

They said the TXT was discontinued for ages over at TamiyaUSA but there's still plenty of them going about

yeah same with the TB01 German rally impreza - more around then ever yet thats apparently discontinued as well lol.

start to fear when there are less than 3 on ebay lol.

Ive noticed recently that there aren't as many txts on ebay as there was a while ago. But hopefully theres gunna be a txt2 soon. Thingers crossed.

well that a shame! i had one of then with plenty of parts, i sold it recently for £86.00 on good old ebay!

well looks like it goner be hard to get parts soon!

but they are good fun if your on a budget!

It may only be discontinued to the American market. Over here in Britain the Hummer R/C kit is obsolete, but it's still available to the US market. (last time I checked)

These things tend to go in waves, i think it all depends on the shipments Tamiya throws out. Give it a month or so and there will be a ton of TXT's again.  I have noticed supplies of the Top Force and the Thunder Shot, both of which I think have truly ended production, have pretty much dried up on ebay. I expect prices for both kits NIB will probably start to creep up again which is a shame as I wouldn't mind a second Top Force.
