Hi all

Just started us ing a budget Mtroniks big-lix 17x2T motor with my TL-01. Problem is i suddenly seem  to have a lot of interference compared to the 23T superstock tamiya i was running before.

Having read about having 3 caps attached to the motor, it seems mine only has the one on it.

Cant seem to find anywhere who sells these little caps though!

any help much appreciated

cheers

hmm not sure about where to get them - tho I have several spurs of 4 I think from Lrp when I got some Pro esc's from them.

No use to me as I dont run high motors above sport tuned, only needed the Esc's for there long run capacity with heat build up and full reverse function for off road.

e-mail me if ure interested.

Cheers Ryck

In the UK you can get them from Maplin Electronics if you have a store near you. I've got 104Z ceramic discs on my cars, I think that equates to 10uF. Cost about 8p each from what I remember [:)]

Electronics hobbyists shops carry them, you can get them in strips or on a big bag of dozens of them for only a few cents each.

104Z is normally what's recommended, they're 10 x 10 ^ 4 pF, or 100000pF = 0.1uF unpolarised capacitors.
