Where can I get custom wheels and Tyres for the Lunchbox?

Hi Peeps

Where can I get some new different types of wheels and tyres (eg crome etc) for my Lunch Box?

Also is there a converter for the bback wheels as its not the usual hexagons on teh stock kit.

The simplist way to get chrome rims for the lunchbox nowdays is to buy a set of chrome edition midnight pumpkin wheels - these will be a direct replacement.

Wild willy 2 rims will also work, but you'll need an after market adapter to get the hex fitting - tamiya make one for the frog which you can buy brand new.

 

Other companies like hpi also make adapters

 

Imex claw dawgs are excellent tyres for the lunchbox, although they are hard to find nowdays i believe. I'm not sure what other tyres will work as the lunchbox rims are an odd width.

Fitting standard 2.2 rims is also an option, but your truck will stand a little taller, and wont be as wide.

I was able to swoop up on a set of mesh ones for an upcoming lunchbox project
