I'm exchanging the 380 motor in my re-re Grasshopper for a 540. The manual calls for an 18T pinion. So I ordered 50355 "18T, 19T AV pinion gear set". When I went to fit the new pinion and 540 motor, the pinion PCD is too small, where the pinion teeth don't even tough the spur gear teeth. Is there a larger PCD 18T Tamiya pinion I should be using? What would the part number be? Thanks.

I feel for you there, Tamiya addict, i did the same thing!-  18T AV pinion gears no good for grasshopper!, on the bright side, your grasshopper will fly when you fit the proper 18T pinion into it!- oil shocks at the rear will also help with the rather unpredictable handling!

cheers
