kamtek scorcher body... DO you own one and are you happy?

I am building a "Sand scorcher" project... I wanted a Parma body for it but including the shipping from the states to the US they end up costing about$50.

I have seen the kamtek one... interesting. Anyone owns one? is it any good? What about the ABS version? does it have lexan windows?

Any info or help would be appreciated thanks a lot!

I used to have a lexan one:

It's obviously nowhere near as detailed as the Tamiya version, but stickered up and painted they are fine for a runner. The only part that looks a bit odd in my opinion, is the nose section which doesn't curve back under due to the restrictions of the vaccum forming process...

Thanks... I got a used monster beetle body now but I may still buy a lexan verion eventually

I thought the kamtec lexan shell was good for the price. Quite tough, not as detailed as the tamiya ABS one, but a good 'budget' choice if you plan to smack it around.
