Those are listed under the Conversions section of R/C, so are most likely conversions/modifications that people have done to chassis, etc., not planned releases for Tamiya.

I like what they've done with the car. It's not a bad idea to purchase and vintage body set and apply it to a new chassis. It looks like that's what they did here.

That Celica is what we call a 'half-track': half wheels, half (tank)tracks...

I found this site a great while ago already. If you fill in that link in the search I am sure you'll find it in a previous topic.. [;)] [:P]

They also made a Tyrell Six-wheeler (not re-released by then, though). I also remember a track sweeper truck based on a Jugg, a Celica half-track, a converted WW2 into a Wheeler and a 'mini-mini' etc. etc. [:)] Some very cool pics, but I don't uinderstand a single word of Jap! [:D] (except for "WR-02" in the mini-mini and wheeler though.. [;)] ) There were some other trucks and stuff too.. [:D] Very nice! [:P]

The text below gives more info on the cars, even instructions to builds them. To read what they say use Babelfish at http://world.altavista.com/ paste http://www.tamiya.com/japan/rc/kaizou/kaizou.htm into the translate website box and choose japanese to english. All the links work in the window, so you can go through them all. Just dont expect everything to be translated, and you still have to try and work out what thge translation means.

If you look hard enough - you can translate the parts required to make the wheeler......I have - and have had the parts on order for a couple of months or so now.[V][:(!]

I have a spare wheeler body set just dying for a home.......[:P][:P]

Will post some pics when I get around to the conversion.

Cheers
