I just picked up a TB-02 and am in the process of setting up. This is where you guys come in...any suggestions?

Going to be running rubber for now and in GT2 class with it for TCS(Black Can)

What springs should we start with? Camber settings? Roll bars for F or R or both? How about gearing?

Any help here guys will be appreciated. i am just looking for a good basic set up that I can work with from there to dial it in for my driving style.

Thanks

Start stock. Drive. Add a hopup or modify something. Drive. Add a hopup or modify something. Drive. You get the idea. If you want to really know the car, take it slow and find out what each individual part does.

You'll probably end up using one or both anti-roll bars and zero camber, gearing will be different for every track and requires testing to determine a good balance of speed and accleration and motor heat.

Thanks.  I understand the basic isea.  Only change one thing at a time, record it and see if it helps or hinders.  Adjust again.  But what I am looking for is a base line to start from.

Shock oil weight, springs, how much camber, toe-in...just a starting point.  if you are way off the mark to start you can end up chasing a setup for weeks and be no closer to the final product as there are to many variables.

Start with 30wt oil in the shocks, no preload, stock springs, all camber and toe settings neutral. You have to start with a solid baseline car that is easy to drive.

Starting with things non-neutral will just make you drive the car to compensate for them, which isn't helpful. You need to treat toe, camber and shock characteristics like any other hopup/mod.

Edited for grammar/clarity
