Hello!

I recently bought a childhood dream NIB, the super Astute, i bought it on ebay for 360USD, i received the car and put it on my shelf, i had no intention to build it what so ever..I tell´d my brother that i bought an super astute NIB and he visited me later that evening, i took down the nice box from my shelf and opened it, and well....what can possibly go wrong after this expensive ebay trip? ALL of the stupid damper fluid has leaked out in the box, all of the small parts bags where drenched in that sticky s***t..hm what do to? well you can always build it says my brother...hm okey i will build it i answered! but how could the cap come loose on that small bottle...i bought a NIB one, this shouldnt suppose to happen...the seller tolded that all the part was sealed in their blisterpacks in the auction...but after a closer look thís was not the case, the treeparts was sealed but not many parts where on its tree´s...weird, the front bulkhead had been abused by an soldering iron or something very hot...the lower arms was not in it´s blister...well, i have given that dude some really great feedback on ebay and now i regret it. My advice to you all! check the damper fluid bag and put it another bag if you have NIB´s....think if i bought a sand scorcher NIB and exactly the same has gone wrong? This was not funny att all, now i need to find another NIB, cause i want to have one unbuild so much....;)

take care you all, i am going to bed....

sorry to hear.

However I always inspect a package 100% when I purchase it right away. If you wait, you'll only hurt yourself. Taking somebody's word is WAY to risky.

Look on the bright side. You get to build your childhood dream! Now I would say your sad story has turned happy. Remember the tune from Monty Python! chorus "Always look on the bright side of life" Whistle, Whistle Whistle Whistle" Everyone sing along for Thomas!

Sorry to hear this, dude.

Further enhance your 'had to build' SA enjoyment by entering it in a race and drive it just for fun. A good time is practically GUARANTEED! [:D]

Enjoy it, it's a FUN car to race!
