Amongst some parts I got on an eBay bid I recieved a Trinity Slot Machine 2 motor. The only markings on it were ROAR91 and EPIC 5.0.

I don't know what any of this means. How many turns or what is the rating. Will it kill of my MSC in the Hotshot or Boomerang ?

Also there seems to be an abundance of bits soldered on and no +/- leads coming off it. What can I do ??? Is this modified or is it meant to look like this ?

Any help appreciated.

It is a stock (27T) motor. It doesn't appear to be rebuildable. More of a throwaway motor than anything else, in my opinion. Run it until it dies, then toss it. You won't be easily able to rebuild it, it's more trouble than it's worth.

It should work fine on your MSC. Make sure you've got it spinning the right direction, most stock motors have fixed advanced timing and if you're running the motor in reverse your MSC won't like it.

You need to solder the wires to the large tabs on the main brush hood assemblies. There are two large tabs on each side sticking up. Either one is fine to use for the side.

Thanks for the advice,

I can see where to solder the wires, but why would someone solder 3 additional resistors? to the main body ????

Each one has got 102k written on it. Should I take these off?

If they are soldered on correctly, they function as noise suppressors (they are probably capacitors). You won't likely see any change if they are on or off.
