Tamiya movie hosting down again.

Hi all, seems the movie hosting is down again. This feature was one of the main reasons I shell out to be a full member!- wish a long tern solution to the problem will be found, its annoying to spend ages uploading the movie only to find it didnt work!- OK rant over. Anyway, I see others have posted links to utube movies, which i would do but cant seem to get the movie upload page to accept ayoutube link, all it wants is mpg/ mov/ etc files. Its just that i want to share our tamiya adventures!

I have to agree with you on this ! i understand that chris (netsmith) does this as a hobby (correct me if im wrong) and that it is probably more like a full time job ! but i too cant up load films or as it goes get on the chatroom so i do wonder that next time the subs come round what to do as i seem to be paying for things that im not getting ! i would just like to point out that nobodys holding a gun to my head making me pay !

this is only my opinion and i in noway blame anyone for the stuff that does'nt work !

I will answer your first question, you can't enter the UTube link info the movie location bar as it has to be a movie there (in a certain format!) so if you had a movie at ""$%^%$&&^&.mov that would count (I hope you understand)

so all you have to do is enter the movie URL inside the text at the top and get people t enter it into there browsers for them to view it!

Although I just host it somewhere where I get the movie file no other page.

I must say that it has been down for a while but I know how hard it can be to get to hosting providers and get them to give you answers!

Thanks for getting the 2mb movies up and running again Chris, sorry if it sounded like i was criticising you, I honestly didnt realise you do this club alone as a hobby- its so good, i always assumed it was a full commercial thing!
