HI all,

I recently bought myself a TNX and there it happend: I tend to like this nitro car very much. In a LHS there is now a very good deal on a TNX 5.2, and I am thinking of buying it. But the same shop has also good deals on HPI Savage cars (SS, SS X, 25 etc). These are more expensive but are they worth it? Will these be faster/stronger or in anyway better then Tamiya? A TC member told me that the alu frames of HPI will bent quick. From what I see the HPI's look a lot heavier also?

Any advice?

Thanks,

 Max

I couldn't compare it with the TNX, the Savage (and all its variants) are bash cars. They're not quick, probably slower than your TNX. They're made to be beaten, abused, thrashed, and not break. Between the two, I'd stick with the TNX unless you're a hardcore basher and you're having issues with the TNX breaking.
