Ok, servo can only be wired in one way, so why when i turn left on the control knob does the servo go right ???

I thought about moving the wires on the servo but there are 3 wires going in, 1 black, 1 red and 1 white so what is the problem?????

The black and red wires are for the power supply, the white wire is the signal to the servo. If the servo works fine, but just turns the opposite direction then you need to flick the reverse switch on the transmitter. If the servo doesn't work at all, it's normally because either the white and red wires need to be swapped over, or the entire plug turned the other way round (this is because different manufacturers have different ideas about which pin in the connector should be used)

So, if your servo is working but turning the wrong way, all you need to do is to turn the reverse switch on on the transmitter and it will be fine. If you don't have a reversing switch or function on the transmitter, you can buy a small plug in unit which plugs into the servo lead and will reverse it, but these cost almost as much as a cheap transmitter with reverse switches anyway.

Just in case your transmitter (radio , controller) doesnt have reversing switches, here are a few ideas.

A trick that we used to do for stick type controllers, is to simply undo the srcews holding in the steering joystick, remove it, turn it 180 degrees, and refit it the same way it came out. This will work for some older Futaba, Sanwa etc. controllers.

Failing that, or if you are using a wheel or pistol style radio, and if your soldering skills are OK, you can pull the radio apart, and swap the 2 outer wires on the steering pot. This will work in exactly the same way as the reversing switch does.

Cheers
