Name that Car

This is an ebay win that came from the States that are united over in America.

The problem is i don't know what it is, can anyone name the car?

It's got an aluminium tub chassis and carbon suspension bulkheads.

The wishbone arms are the same as a Stadium Thunder but the gearbox is different.

Also what motor is this?

Any help much appreciated.

The motor is a Peak Performance mod motor - usually see them in Pink, Orange, Black and Green.  www.peakmotors.com

The chassis is an Associated RC10 chassis - the one after their GOLD chassis-both car and truck use similiar chassis.

I've just trawled through all the manuals and diagrams at AE and it doesn't match anything.

Also the suspension arms and hub carriers are identical to a Stadium Thunder.

Futaba made a reasonably competitive truck called the FXT back in the day.  The aluminum tub chassis looked alot like that of the RC10/T series of vehicles but was indeed different.  It could be one of those considering Tamiya and Futaba collaberated before (FX10/Striker series).

Yes that's exactly what it is, thank you for clearing that up.

I now know what to call it and this should make it a bit easier to source some parts for it.
