I kind of lost track after we cancelled the last one, been so busy these last few weeks.  Finally getting things cleared up.

So whose up for an off-road bash at Ham Hill sometime in April?  After this weekend I should be mostly free right up to May, unless anything comes up.

1st weekend in May is not such a good choice - its Bank Holiday weekend and I reckon a lot of folks may have plans. E.g. Alex and I will be in the MiniWorld Riviera Run so don't expect our M-chassis Minis!!!

Last time Sunday was a more popular choice than a Saturday.

if i can get off work i may do i dont get down to see the old folks much as they live quite a way from me about 40 or so miles so i can kill to birds with 1 stone as it were.the last time i went up to ham hill i killed my tmaxx clone(cheap crappy nitro truck that died in a month!)

Superb day, even if only 4 TC members appeared!  We had a blast.

Hillman666 broke nearly everything he ran!  My wife broke the TLT, and I broke....   Nothing!  Wonder of wonders!

Superb weather, lots of spectators, awesome dust clouds on the climbing ramps.

My "Breakage" list:

Stadium Thunder gearbox - stripped by the incredible torque of the BZ []

Blackfoot Extreme - lost a top arm screw, thankfully I had a spare with me!

TXT - pulled another rod-end thread; time to get some stronger ones I think!

TTG Porsche 934 got its first proper run and still hasn't flattened the battery

Pumpkin got its first run in ages and didn't suffer any damage whatsoever []

I'm really sorry guys - Alex & I have just moved house, and had problems with broadband transfer and haven't kept up to date with the Bash details.

So unfortunately we missed out... [:'(]

Plus we packed the RC stuff early on and it was kinda buried in the enormous pile of cardboard boxes!

We're definately up for it next time though. Sounds you had another good giggle.

Ham hill is an hour and 10 mins away from me, will try to get there the next time you are going, looks like i need to get some sort of blackfoot type truck though! all i have is vintage buggys etc, what things go well over there?

@suzy:  No worries, just missed you guys this time.  Looking forward to seeing the beastie set loose!

@gaz:  It's about 2 hours from us (South Wales) but well worth the journey for the company and terrain.

You can run anything from Mini's to RC18T, buggies, clods etc.  I blasted my Brushless Top Force, Mini, TLT, Brushless Jugg and Dyna Storm the time before last and ran an RC18T, Mini and TLT last time (downsized).

Looking forward to the next meet as I will be bringing my finally sorted Clod for some proper assaults on that big hill!!!

Got the wife's parents up next weekend now, which got me thinking...
