Are these going to be worth a whole lot in a few years or many years because of this limited 30 anniversary run? Do you think a lot of people bought a few just to tuck away in the closet?

I also heard - don't know if it is right - but if you break a part you are out of luck because the suspension arms, etc are different than other TA05 because the 934 chassis is an odd size? so even if you get one today you basically can't break anything on it??

What do you think about this car? do you have one or want one or would like one? I haven't seen hardly any posts about it. Just curious.

thanks!

I think they will be collectable in 30 years but not how collectable an original black porche is now.  Back then very few people tucked them away for collecting reasons.  That's whythey are scarce now and the value is high

I wouldn't buy the 934 rere with the idea of it rising in value to turn a buck.  It just won't happen,  your better off investing that $600 in the stock market

Consider this, in 1981a NIB Hilux sold for roughly $400 new and $2500 now.  If you had invested that $400 in something with a moderate return where your money doubles every seven years you would have almost $6400 now.

The suspension arms are the Short Reversible type part #53928, also used on the Evo 5.  The 934 uses parts from TA05, Evo IV, Evo 5, TRF415, and TRF501X, all of which are available.  You can fit a TA05 front one-way or spool, and you can mess around with the suspension blocks, which are standard TRF415 parts.

Because of the short wheel base, 232mm instead of 257mm, the chassis plates and the drive belts are unique to the model.  TA05 drive belts will be too long.

I have got one.  I don't like the medium narrow wheels in the kit, because I think that they are too skinny, particularly at the rear, for a racing Porker.  I can see myself experimenting with the two piece wheels that came with the old 911 GT2 kit.  However, the chassis is just Bling Bling Bling [H] [H] [H]

I think it'll be highly collectible very soon - come on, 1000 kits only! The box is absolutely gorgeous with its black top and 1976-2006 "watermarked" decoration, you have the emotionally involving certificate in there, the body is sensual like badword, the rim/tire combo is an absolute work of art, the chassis is a "custom" to fit the shorter wheelbase... how much more collectible than this can this get? I absolutely love mine and have chills in the spine whenever I open the box (I haven't dared starting building it yet)...

1000 kits ;) never forget...

Cheers,

Paul

The thing that bugs me about this car is the fact they only made 1000.  It's kinda like what TY did with the beanie babies, planned rareity

I knew they were limited but I didn't realise there were so few made, do the kits have the production numbers on them, like "kit 150 of 1000" or something ?

I wonder why they did that though?  seems folks have a hard time buying them anyways cause tower now finally, and I mean finally has them in stock.

i have the problem that stella model uses only EMS spedition to Italy, where i live...

It's because the post office in Italy has some serious issue.  I have had two shipment gone missing for several weeks then finally turn up a month later.  Some ebay seller refuse to ship to Italy becuase of it.
