Yes there are other bodies.  The Super Dragon and Fire Dragon bodies fit. you would need the special front body mount that comes with the body kit.  The look of them leave a lot to be desired but they are a direct fit Tamiya made body.  For aftermarket, the narrow chassis will let you adapt quite a few bodies from bugs to trucks and to other buggy bodies

Are there any other body options besides the grasshopper and hornet that will it this chassis?

There used to be a while back when the kits were first produced. Parma designed a few alternate bodies for the GrassHopper and Hornet called the Stinger (original design), an alternate direct fit Hornet body with additional detail, and another called the Outlaw Wedge.

The only alternate GH / Hornet body Parma produces today is the polycarbonate direct fit GrassHopper body.

They old Parma bodies were all excellent polycarbonate replacements and were pretty cool designs to boot. TC member Crash Cramer was lucky enough to find an original Stinger body in an old hobby shop raid. I just got it a week ago and it is still mint since it was not exposed to light.

I set is aside for a future project and plan to fit it onto a Hornet chassis in the future (once I think of a good paint scheme).

Parma also used to design custom alternate bodies for the Frog (called the Frog Jumper) and the Hotshot (called the Wells Coyote). I have a Wells Coyote body as well which is also near mint condition, but have never found the old Frog Jumper or seen one close up.

If you're good with modifying stuff you can fit a lot more to the grasshopper/ hornet chassis- i am using a Beetle shell at the moment (check out the movies to see it in action)- but does require extra body posts and some butchery of the chassis in places!!- be warned.

I have a Frog Jumper body.  Man, it was huge compared to the stock Tamiya body.  Mine's a bit beat up...actually...a lot beat up, but it still works as a runner body.
