futaba 4ex radio setup for my high lift

this futaba gear i bought looks great but not sure how to setup to use the gate i got from stella, i have put a picture of it in my showroom (high lift) im using the right stick top/mid/bottom for gear change with the left to right for steering, and using the left stick for throttle. it does'nt tell you anything in the book as it only covers aircraft, i bought this over the 4wd gear for the 40mhz and it was easier to get hold off, would really like to setup properly.

Try LEFT stick UP=FWD.   DOWN=REV Left=1st   Mid=2nd  Right=3rd........Right stick for steering with this setup you control the speed and gear change with one movement instead of two.
