I use a 4exfm for planes, and it's a nice unit especially for the price.

Yes its the 40MHz one!! But whay must i have that..? Live in norway by the way!

The 35mhz one is for planes only, illegal to use it for cars in the UK, I'm not sure of the rules in Norway, but probably the same?

I just purchased a 40 MHz unit from Stella. Thanks Stella!!!

I may have to swap the stick ratchet from left to right. I'll use mine for my 4WS TXT-1 and my 1:14 truck (in due course).

This radio seems to be good bang for buck. The only disadvantage, or limiting factor being the large RX size.

Thanks Stella, my WW2 & 4EX arrived from HK today. The ratchet is on the RH stick, which is the same as the Attack 4VWD and FM 4YF radios. I pulled off the back to see if the ratchet and spring mechanisms can be swapped left to right and vice versa. They cannot, as the moulded housings are unique between left and right sticks/gimballs. So ensure you pick the right radio for use with Tamiya 3 speeds, as I did. The 4EX is a great low cost radio - low cost internals (thin wires), but 'customer features for the money'. The Rx is a little larger than the AM one from the 4VWD, but you get FM and programmability, including channel mixing. So I can only recommend it, and the seller as always!
