I´m sooo mad at meself!!!

I was watching an auction going at the bay, it was a NIB chrome Wild Willy 2...

I was thinkin´ I´ll bet $150 and it´ll end round midnight but I was one hour short it would end round 1 in the morning!

The bet was around $128, so I thought that it would end alot higher at the end!

So went to bed instead... Woke up this morning and took a look at the ended auction and it ended at $132!!!

Why, WHY DIDN´T I STAY UP AND WATCH IT TILL THE END?!! GOD!!! WHY!!! WHY!!!

If I had, I would probably have a NIB chrome WW2!!! 

I´m so angry at meself!!!

you should sign up for auctionsniper.com and let them do your bidding for you.

I agree with Shodog. Auctionsniper will save you a lot missed auction endings, and means you won't have to stay up late.

Done the same myself (though not with an RC car)- ebay always say bid the maximum you will be prepared to pay (but of course they would say that), on the other hand its easy to get carried away in the heat of the bidding, panic and end up paying more than perhaps you should have (Done that too!)- my commiserations to you, hope you get that car some other way mate!

also can't get spareparts of the shiny bits...  [^o)] chrome goes dull as shelfqueen from handling/dusting etc. Bling has its costs too.

Painted my runner in Tamiya "limited edition" AMG Metallic Green TS paint (no paint TS # !!) and now can't get more cans to touchup. WW2 now looking a bit scruffy.

don't cry over spilt milk Badboy, even though it's a WW we're talkin' about.... You lost out on $20, so what (thats two boxes of Skruf here in Norway, and I go through a box a day), plenty of chrome WW to buy later, don't let it out on your girl. I like to see that you're gettin into the WW though

The thing is Badboy , although it sold for $132 , the winning bidder may have placed a higher 'kitty' which may have still beaten your $150, so you could have stayed up late and still got beaten.The upside of it all is ,that you didn't overspend , and there will be other chances to get a chrome WW2, just stay cool ,and it will happen i'm sure  [] - cheers ,Kev

I got my WW2 chrome edition off of Damo (Devilsome) for a bargin £50 [h] It was not mint though as it is used as runner, thus scuffs and scrapes to the "spare wheel cover". I did consider buying a standard "runner" shell but as the chrome shell was scuffed anyway i just continue to use it. I have also thought about spraying it in one of the transparent colours (possibly the blue) but as yet i'm undecided.

Keep looking though Badboy as one will turn up soon [y]
