Hi Kev

Nope, the Red Bull LB isn't mine, I think it belongs to Biggus.

I'm suprised no-one on here has a set to offer you, looks like loads of people run their Touareg without the original VW body on it.

Well , here is my Champ restyle project which is just about finished.I need to get the small numbers on the side panels printed onto decal sheet - these are scaled down versions of the front number - scaled to fit the panel size.I was beaten to the Red Bull buggy scheme by Chefs Bikes' excellently cool Wild One , but i still like it all the same - cheers

That turned out awesome !

I love the front bumper and the rear cage, just looks a little different, and in fact better than stock !

Only other thing I might try is a rear wing, nothing too large, but just for the look.

Great work !

Stu,

I know what you mean. When I was looking at it my first thought was it needed a wing. It would be very Kyosho Scorpion esq if one was added. Still fantastic looking project. Great to see originality on this one. Right up there with Volksrod on this one.

Kev,

Where is your showroom mate? I think you need to get one sorted so we can all have a closer look at this and some of your other cars.

Thanks for the kind words there Dready.I will have a go at a rear spoiler to see how it looks (in fact it is already in the making ).This project was built as a runner , but as usual they spiral into a lot of effort and then you dont want to ruin it , but we will see  I'll put some more pics up when i have a wing sorted - cheers all

Very cool. It's turned out looking excellent. My Champ project is in reverse at the moment! (I keep nicking bits off it for other stuff!). I think I need to blow the dust off it now.

I know what you mean , easily done, " i'll borrow that for now and put it back later" - how many times have we said that - LOL

I like the wing. Just not sure it's in the right place?

May be a little higher and further back ?

Yes , i was going to raise it a little with the mounts, i'll make some mounts , and try different settings .

KEV looking great as usual! nice work man! i really like the red bull scheme. if you need more RR fronts for any other projects let me know i may have a few new ones laying around

Lift it to just level with the roll bar maybe ?

Front to back looks ok to me (personal preference :) )

Here is a fully bolted on rear wing .The wing tilt is fully adjustable , as is the front to back positioning by use of adjustable steering rods / turnbuckles - cool eh.I've also added some roll bar head padding, and wing stabilizer gaiters (well 2 at the mo., need to buy another one LOL ) .Thanks to all for the comments / hints / tips etc , keep 'em coming guys and gals <_< - once i'm happy with it , i'll paint it to match the rest of the livery

PS - sorry about the fuzzy rear shot .Also I might lose the stabilizer gaiters as they look a bit monkey to me - what do you think?
