New GT-01 coming soon - Ferrari GTO Kit: 57103

Recommended Posts

I saw it on the Tamiya USA website, if it looks as good as that then I'll probably get one. This is my favourite Ferrari ever.

According to the description at Tamiya JP's site, the GTO is a bit longer then the 934.

And it'll be interesting to see how it is done to extend the GT1 chassis.

As long as the wheelbase is the same, I imagine they'll just increase the overall length by changing the bodyshell (probably the front overhang)...

The 934 and Ferrari GTO are two of my all time favourites;  now I don't know which one should I buy....

Buy one, then get a shell of the other plus the wheels if they are different, might do that myself.

Very nice. Managed to resist the 934 so far, but this could be too much temptation!

Hmm, to have this shell in 1/10 would require a chassis with extra low front suspension, so as not to protrude through the bonnet (hood)  If only there was such a chassis, say with inboard suspension.......... im just speculating btw.

No, The wheelbase of 288GTO is to be extend by 14mm using some new parts.

"?????????????????????????14mm???????".

Interesting to see how this is done. In-fact I am looking for ways to make the GT01 MR instead of RR...  :-)

probably some "swept" arms on the rear and or offset uprights and a slightly longer driveshaft

I was hoping for a 250 gto not the 288

I have the Porsche and MUST have the Ferrari when it comes out...assuming it looks as good (or pretty close) ...as the photos.  One day I will own a real Ferrari GTO.
