Do you paint it on the outside or the inside?

If you paint it on the outside you give it a base coat of let's say olive green then you use brush paint and put multiple "splodges" on it.

Not sure about what to do if you paint in on the inside tho need alot of masking tape.

I masked off my Mini roof and did all of the chequer pattern manually; it took ages. Did I feel a fool when I found that you can buy Parma Fascheq, which has the chequer pattern ready mixed [:o)].

I think an airbrush would be essential for the camouflage painting. There's a few articles on the subject on the web like http://www.ontheway.us/articles/paintingbasics.htm - do a Google search for "camouflage painting technique" or something like that and you get a fair few good resources.

the problem with the camo listed on the pics is that the scheme is to linear camo is supposed to be blotchy and irregular. should be NO PATTERN and should use the proper colors for the terrain...Example icy or snowy terrain requires whites, ultra whites, light blue, sky blue. Jungle terrain uses 3 greens, 1 brown and light black. Desert uses 3 "Browns" (tan, camel and med brown)

To paint "odd" or irregular shapes I have cut out 8 by 10 sheets of paper and cut strange holes in the middle and only use them once or twice in diff places hanging off the edge and in the center but nothing NOTHING goes dead center. Using the paper also cuts down on overspray, and helps eliminate wasted paint. remember no sharp lines but lots of irregular shapes I know that I have stated that more than once but its important.

#1 no sharp lines

#2 use things off center

#3 dont overlayer

#4 nothing too small make it scale.

Hope it helps
