If you are in the top 77 then you should pat yourself on the back as that means someone took the time to vote for you.

78+ means you may just need to study the winning form a little more (and in some cases, understand what the competition is about [] )

I think in this competition in particular the top 20 show quite a range of styles, and are obviously taken on a range of cameras - so its not just the camera that makes a winner or not. Thought, preparation, time and effort all play very big parts (that said, one lucky snap can still be the one that wins - like wise you can put "Thought, preparation, time and effort " in but if people still don't 'get it' then your results may not be great - and I'm not knocking any of the entries here, just offering advice on how to improve your rankings.
