If Tamiya would let it out, would you buy a new one?

I have 4 SS, and would definitly buy more than one...
Depending on price of course, but absolutly...
How about you?

#1) How many do you got?
#2) Would you buy a new SRB?
#3) If the price wasn´t to high, how many would you buy?

This is NOT a thread bout "Will Tamiya re-release the SRB"?
This is just a thought I hade last night before I went to sleep.
What would my girlfriend say if I bought 3 SRB´s?
I would buy tons of spareparts and hopups as well!!!
If the would switch to plastic/nylon parts I wouldn´t mind as long they look scale (shocks, wheels, body etc, etc...)

Maybe somebody at Tamiya reading this, you never know...

Cheers

I think, if I put all the bits I've got together, I've got at least 7 or 8 SRBs there abouts.

IF (and it's a HUGE IF) Tamiya re re'd them I'd probably buy several. From a personal point of view, I don't really think it would make much difference to me if it was the same as the original or updated with more plastic bits, as long as it kept the same front suspension design.

From a business point of view, I hope it would be identical to the original (better front ball cups maybe).....more scorchers means i sell more hop ups![:)]

Ahh! it's good to dream.

I have 7 SRB's.

If Tamiya re-issued them in Plastic I would buy one to go with the others, I want to buy the little 16th Super Champ to go with the rest. If they re-issued them in metal I would buy as many as i could afford and keep buying them as I have been doing with my other 7. I mainly love the SRB's and the Hilux/Mountaineer/Bruisers because they are metal and have mass and weight to them. Also they look so much more scale with metal parts.

#2) Would you buy a new SRB? Yes definately without hesitation.
#3) If the price wasn´t to high, how many would you buy? At least three but probably a lot more so i could shelf the originals.

#1) How many do you got?  I have 3 NIB, 3 relatively stock ones, 3 Modifieds and 3 projects
#2) Would you buy a new SRB? Yes
#3) If the price wasn´t to high, how many would you buy?  If the bodies were the same I would buy about five but if they were different, maybe one or two.

#1) How many do you got?
Only 2 - both equiped with twinset-chassis + Kamtec RC-boxes, 1 with shodog-rearcage + balldiff.
Both cars aren´t ready - I´m not sure which body
(got 3 Blitzer-Bodys, 1 Kamtec Repro + 1 Kamtec Rough-Rider-Repro in Lexan)

#2) Would you buy a new SRB?
Definitly YES !

#3) If the price wasn´t to high, how many would you buy?
Hmm - not more than 2, because there are many examples of custom-Scorchers with other, "better" Chassis (Asso RC10, Frog, etc...)
I´m not a great fan of shelf queens (I would be, but I got a small flat with limited space), so all my cars have to be runners.....

Currently, i have 17 SRB´s if the Super Champ counts as one.  ;)  If it doesnt´i only have 12 as 5 of them are SC´ s..

3 of them are runners, 2 of them using Twinset-chassis and other mods, and the 3rd one uses lots of old hop-up-stuff, and runs quite interesting.. Got it off ebay as it looks now, and it runs with all the original stuff still.. The other 2, (RR and SS) have each been modfied with ESC and so on..

Yes, i would probably go and get 1 or 2 of them, if they were re-re´d, which i seriously doubt..

#1) How many do you got? One restored SS that is a runner with the old MSC. The only modernization is the lexan runner body from Thunder Tiger.
#2) Would you buy a new SRB? No, actually not. I preefer yesteryears' models over re-releases if we talk old school/veteran RC.
#3) If the price wasn´t to high, how many would you buy? See #2

#1) How many do you got? One in the process of restoring it. Another in storage - I think I'll upgrade this one if I can find it.

#2) Would you buy a new SRB? Certainly!

#3) If the price wasn´t to high, how many would you buy? One for sure. AND another just to throw into storage for the sake of digging it out again in the distant future. 8D

#1) I've got about 8 or 9 - some complete and some "potential" SRBs.

#2) Yes.

#3) One of each if they released the different body styles. Then maybe another one to use as a runner.

#1) How many do you got?

A. None ;) ...one day...

#2) Would you buy a new SRB?

A. Definately yes! Though it would need to keep the traditions of old with all metal parts. Scale driven realism R/C is different to 'Drive Em Hard' racer R/C.

#3) If the price wasnt to high, how many would you buy?

A. As many as the wife would let me, probably 2.

F-350 will be my next buy/build, when I can coax $AU1k outa my wife. She hasn't gotten over the $AU780 of the Blazing Star --> Top Force conversion yet. :S

1) None. 2 Super Champs which I think I will sell soon.

2) Not unless it is updated into a more capable runner.

3)Same as #2. If it has the durability of at least a Sand Viper I'd get one for scale fun.

#1) How many do you got? One, F150 Ranger

#2) Would you buy a new SRB? Definately yes

#3) If the price wasnt to high, how many would you buy? If they where 98% close to original probably 3 Scorchers, two RR's and 2 Rangers

Sand scorcher and Superchamp NIB

All of the SRB body kits NIB

2SS, 1RR ,1 ranger and 2 SC runners

about 8 SRB chassis and spares.

NIB tyres and wheels for each model (not re release)

2 Spare NIB grey bumbres and 2 NIB rear cages

Yes I would buy an new one probbly a couple of each as they are released.

More importantly I would buy re released spares to complete my SRB projects.

It is doubtfull wether they would ever be able to release a body kit like the scorcher again. There are more parts in the body than in some complete cars. I am very lucky to have as much SRB stuff as I have.
