Yeovil Meet - Ham Hill

OK all, seems we are in need of another Yeovil Meet at Ham Hill. Got my Gecko crawler ready, plus a few 16th / 18th scale beasties to play with.

I reckon we need one sometime in the next month, but as usual group opinion will out!

So, come one, put your name down and lets get a date arranged that is suitable for the most members possible!

The last twice, we even stopped off for a meal afterwards. Very nice way to get to know ther members.

I can't make the 23rd unfortunately as I am looking after my son whilst my wife gets pampered for a Hen do

If we say Sunday the 24th of June as a confirmed date and see what resuts we get from others.

thanks!i just wish i still had them all!! im down to a wild one, losi xxx4, prerunner type beetle thing (ta02 truck) a grasshopper and a mini ill just bring the lot i think. will be great to finally meet some TC members!

I haven't been on TC much recently, thanks for the heads-up Lemming, the weekend is looking clear and all batteries are charged so hopefully I will see you all there on Sunday morning

BTW what time are we meeting? I usually get there about an hour early and discharge all my batteries before anyone else turns up!

Hi all,

The weather looks terrible for Yeovil on Sunday so I am seriously considering cancelling the event / not attending.

Obviously if others still want to meet up, now worries and I will miss you all!

Basically I have a 1.5hr journey to get there, then a 9 month old son to keep occupied, so way too much hassle if it's raining.

Thinking of re-arranging the meet for 2 weeks later if people are up for that... Hopefully Rabiedmushroom will be back then as well

Any updates on whether we're on or off? My Stadium Thunder keeps looking at me with very sad... er... wheels....?

I suppose if the weather is good on the morning then I'll pop down, if not I'll give it a miss. I appreciate those coming from long-distance won't want to make the trip for nothing. If it's wet on Ham Hill then it's *really* wet - and cold, too.

Problem is the weather here is so changeable, earlier today it was hammering with rain, now the sun is out, the pavement is dry, and it looks just lovely for taking the Blackfoot Extreme for a quick play in the garden - if only the grass wasn't so overgrown! It could probably be like that on and off all day on Sunday

You know... That's exactly what the missus said as well.

I am worried about keeping Evan (my son) occupied if it is pouring down all day. Keeping a 9 month old happy in the back of a car is seriously hard work!

I think I will cry off this one rather than be a disappointment by not turning up on the day.

p.s. Whenever I can make it I will arrive at about 12:00. Basically, Evan finishes breakfast at about 10:30, so we leave ASAP after that.

Yeah, dont think ill risk it either. Too far to go on the off chance the weather will be ok. Still hopefully in another 2 weeks the weather will have settled and maybe a few more tc members will be able to make it such as rabiedmushroom and her partner (sorry chap, cant remember your name!! )

28th or 29th July? That's just under 2 weeks time, and it's the only weekend for the next month or two that I've got free!

I have to apologise... My son was not well Saturday night. We hoped he would feel better by Sunday, but after an entire night with a very unhappy / awake baby we decided we couldn't manage to get there.

I really hope that Mad Ax didn't get left on his own..........

Anyway, I really hope to make the next one, and just wanted to apologise for not being there

I've got lots of new toys since last year.

I'm ordering some replacement shocks and some diff locks so I can actually run my monster truck Draggin out with you guys at long last!

I've got a new M01 Mini with knobblies and a retro grey paintjob.

Plus I've changed the top on my Wild Dagger cus it was rubbish last time we went.

And hopped-up WWilly is yet to be broken in yet.
