Tamiya_addict 2 Posted June 8, 2007 Make you look err? What body do people look forward to as the next M chassis release after the VW Beetle? I'd like to see some of the older bodies, including: Karmann Ghia M04L Fiat Abarth re-re C'mon Tamiya, great bodies! Or maybe a Ford Fiesta RS on an M03M chassis to compete against the Swift. What other 'character cars' exist???
Gruntfuggly 562 Posted June 8, 2007 Ford Sport Puma would be cool...
steviedee 0 Posted June 8, 2007 i personally would like to see old school cars, like fiesta amk1 and escort mk1 + mk2, but i very much doubt they would have a mass world market so i reckon it aint ever going to happen. it would be nice though
Gruntfuggly 562 Posted June 8, 2007 Kamtec do Mk 1 Fiestas and Escorts...

bakaguyjean 7 Posted June 8, 2007 A 356 would be great, Im working on a replica of Vic Skirimts 356 using a Kawada 356 but if Tamiya made one im shure the detail would outstanding. Heres a picture of what my 356 will be a copy of
Bin ^jammin^ 0 Posted June 8, 2007 I'd like to see a Karman ghia and a 356 coupe. Also i think it would be great if Tamiya made a late 1275GT version (clubman front end) of the MO3 mini
bakaguyjean 7 Posted June 8, 2007 How about a Bugeye Sprite with molded head lights for LEDS, Tamiya would be about the only company to pull it off.
dunebuggy71 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Would love to see an old Lotus Europa or Lotus Esprit turbo, based on the M04 chassis.
TA-Mark 195 Posted June 8, 2007 I feel Escort Mk1 done right would be very popular. Would have me buy my first 'M' Chassis. Not as a classic racer, done more as a retro modern street machine with forest flares. A quick google around of what people have done to their Mk1's shows you how to do it. Cheers, Mark
Cactus_ze_best 0 Posted June 8, 2007 Hi, the Porsche 356 and the Lotus Europa are already made by "Kawada" for the M-chassis in short wheelbase. I whould see: - Vauxhall nova SRi / Opel Corsa A GSI on M03M - VW golf 1 Gti on M-03M - Renault R8 gordini on M-04M - Citroen 2CV on M03L - Porsche 911 2L on M04L - Escort Mk2 on M-04L - Simca Rally on M04M -.... Cactus as the "M-chassis lover"

Cactus as the "M-chassis lover" I think Kawada only made an Lotus Elan body, not an Lotus Europa. And the Lotus Elan body cannot reach the quality of an Tamiya body. Floyd 2 Posted June 8, 2007 I think a 69 Opel GT would be cool . Looks just like a baby Vette
RiZZa 41 Posted June 8, 2007 I think a Mazda RX3 coupe or sedan would be pretty cool.

ABC made a Europe Body, you can still find it if you look hard enough Abc Also made a Esprit body for the 1/10th 4wd chassis they made about 6 years ago,but the body is really ugly. WillyChang 1814 Posted June 9, 2007 for M-chassis... would love to see the 300SL Merc. Golf GTi 1/12th.. would be beaut to see it redone on the GT01 TTG chassis.
Bluefoot 1 Posted June 10, 2007 I second that 300 SL Merc. That way I could combine my two "toy" hobbies.
Old Busted Hotness 1 Posted June 10, 2007 The SL is a little big for an M-chassis, but it would be sweet on a touring car. http://cgi.ebay.com/Lexan-body-1-10-Mercedes-300SL-Gullwing-classic-190mm_W0QQitemZ330115947275QQihZ014QQcategoryZ34063QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem Note: auction has ended, so this post complies with TC rules. He also does an Aston DB5 and 356 coupe.
Gravel-Hounda 0 Posted June 11, 2007 Being that I had 3 of them, MK1 Esky. I'd love to see Tamiya do a MK1 Escort RS,(didn't own unfortunately) have to be a Tamiya body though, big flared gaurds, Driving lights, Driver/Co-Driver interior, all the rally bits 'n' bobs. Or another car I had, Mazda RX2 4door, although I like the 2door coupe more. Just my two bobs worth Cheers' (ex-pat Pom) Del
kontemax 1725 Posted June 11, 2007 What do you think about the Fiat 500 Abarth for the M chassis? This is one of my next projects. I own a real Fiat 500, red, beautifull but not the Abarth version Max
silbercinquecento 0 Posted June 11, 2007 Fiat 500 is great!!! Kyosho made one some years ago. I would like to see a Lancia stratos. There is one from abc hobby, but I can't find a seller for it. Also like to see a Golf I, but....waiting was too long, so I made my own M-Chassis Golf (old Golf Racing Group 2 body) Watch in my showroom http://tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?c...79&id=16510 Fabian
