Hi all,

I also own a 500 body from Kyosho (the only non Tamiya object in my home. I'm a purist but in this case there's a special reason) and will mount it on a M chassis. It's a M04 but it seems good cause the car I drive everyday is rear wheel drive.

What color in your opinion? Red like real mine car or?

Ok, this will be my next project. Here's my real car that will be the reference for my Fiat 500 M04 chassis.

Images are taken from the shoots of my movie where my car acted. More pict in my showroom.

Cheers

Yeah I think a basic Fiat 500 on an M04 chassis would more than delight M chassis owners - lots of character!!!! The 500 was so well known that it would have a broad appeal ($$ for Tamiya), not a niche one as per some other cars listed so far. Plus Tamiya would have the Abarth body data as a starting point. I think it would roll forward as much as sideways!

people who want the escort Mk1 need to remember that this car is only very popular in the UK. It is like me saying that a KE25 Toyota sprinter on the M04 chassis would be fantastic.

The Alfa Guillia has already been re-released on the new chassis, well, the second chassis.

I think a 356, but someone already does the body, would be good.

Maybe true.... but I would pay a MK2 Escort RS1800, all flares and BDA power and RWD......

Fiat Abarth 131.... now you're talking!!!!!

Or, how about....

- Mazda R100/RX2 Coupe (big thanks Gravel-Hounda)

- Well-proportioned Stratos (yeah, I know, there's heaps...)

- Sunbeam Talbot Lotus

- A re-re Ascona 400

- Series 1 Mazda RX7

- Mitsubishi Starion

- Properly-proportioned Toyota AE86 Levin

- Triumph TR7

I gots more rally car suggestions if you need ;-)

I'm not in UK and would still like Mk1 Escort top. It's a rally icon, sold in more places than UK. The 1:1 Fiat 500 here was a flop of a car, and it's remake by Niki, yet it still seems popular in this thread. Opinion is individual and not specific to country of origin.

I would really like to see a First gen Mazda RX-7 as well. And i was thinking Triumph TR8 in Terry Pond colors would be nice with some rally tires.

AE86 is about to burn its self out as Yokomo makes three different AE86,ABC still sells Two,Speedway Pal has one,Active Hobbies has one,and im shure more compaines make that car.

But i really like the ideas about the RX-7 and Tr7/8

Fiat 500 is great!!! Kyosho made one some years ago.

I would like to see a Lancia stratos. There is one from abc hobby, but I can't find a seller for it.

Also like to see a Golf I, but....waiting was too long, so I made my own M-Chassis Golf (old Golf Racing Group 2 body) :D

Watch in my showroom

I really like your Golf, I tried to use a Kamtec body to do the samething but it just didnt have the detail that i was used to so i lost interest. Your looks great.

I think you have a better chance of getting a Escort MK1 than any American car or Australian car as Tamiya really seems to like European and Japanese cars. And there really isnt any cool American cars that fit the bill for a M chassis. All though a Chevy Vega ,AMC Gremlin or Ford Pinto would turn some heads, but maybe not in a good way :D

The old MG's and eventually the MGB's was sold over here ( USA) for a lot of years . Actually I wouldn't mind one of those either , around the late 60's models . I used to have a 75' and a 78' MGB . Though I do have to say the whole design of the car was neat but mechanically and electrically they are a big pile of poo .

I would love to see a Re-re of the Honda S800 or Alpine

How about,

Honda Beat

a well proportioned Exige / Elise

A super seven

Escort RS2000

Porsche 914

Holden Gemini

Datsun 120Y

Kharmen Ghia (spelling)

EG or EK Civic

New VW Gti

Fiat Spider

Fiat X19

Fiat 124 Sport

Alfa Spider Veloce

Before I got an Escort with a BDA, blah blah blah, I would prefer this

Lotus Cortina

i see ABC does a Sunny coupe now, along with the sunny truck
