What Shocks Fit Frog Crp Front Shock Mounts.

crp have stopped selling the front shocks and was woundering which shocks fit the front.

do you have a pic? i just got some CRP 9114 replacement shock towers for the 1601 shock kit. they are red and mount on the chassis mounted suspension/castor bracket. mine look like any shock will mount to it, although i havnt opened them yet.

The CRP shocks appear quite often on ebay i think.. I also have a couple of sets lying around, waiting to be fit onto my Frog also.. Will be exciting to see how it performs with those shocks..

I got some CRP towers fitted to my Frog runner , i tried to fit Hornet alloy dampers to them ,but they were too long so i had to fit the CRP ones i got a while back - other makes will probably fit with some trial and error

I've heard of people using shocks from the Associated RC18 cars. I think they're a good length but too me the springs may be too soft. I haven't tried it, but let us know if anyone does.

Interesting. Yes, by themselves I think they would be too soft, but with those frame springs they might not be too bad.

i just got some semi friction dampers today, they look like they might work although they arnt oil filled, they'll give a nice shock'd look. i'm converting a blackfoot into a frog and mounting a blitzer beetle body, i'll post up once i get the front frog'd on how they fit. i'll post a pic if i can.
