To fit a 7.2v battery into a Sand Rover you need a hump pack, basically a 5 cell pack with an extra cell on top, like this Piranha hump pack A search for 7.2v hump pack should find several examples to choose from.

I could sell you NIP 7,2V 1700 mAh original Tamyia cells. Much lighter to increase the performance of the Rover.

The batteries are quite cheap because I have them in surplus. I would sell them for 16EUR each plus shipping. (Orginally 43EUR)
