Aftermarket Bodyshells

Carry on with my list of 'To-Does' fot my Twin Detonator...

Are there any good bodyshell that will fit??... I dont know HPI or Proline for eg.

The original shell in fairly bashed so it would be an obvious thing to replace but cant say I'm that fond of the stock shell.

Ideally i would like a stadium shell

Any shells designed for likes of Traxxas Stampede/Rustler will fit just fine... I have a Protoform Silverado on mine and wheelbase is perfect.

There was also a Proline Silverado, and a Ford F-150 (I think, see pic) but these appear to be discontinued, so you might have to hunt a bit

Some nice looking shells there. I particularly like the MT-1 shell.

Urm, not usually now, no

Some of the 'kit specific' ones used to have the cut lines molded in, so an HPI made Savage shell would have the lines there for the cooling head, fuel tank access etc, but it's rare for them to be cut out.

With so many chassis layouts now, 'access' cut lines are rarer, as T-Maxxes aren't the only monster truck any more

Picked them up off ebay for 99p plus postage. they were off someone dakar Toureg project.

I Kinda like how it looks. Never did like the TD flame decals

I've put a HPI Landrover shell on my Wild Dagger. It looks pretty cool; its dark green with white Twin-Det wheels. Sorry no pics, but the wheelbase is fine.

I quite like the defender 90 pick up shell, but not sure about the long wheelbase one. Which one have you got.

Was wondering about the Emaxx Baja shell or similar on the Beetle line. I think Modelsport do a clear one. Might just get Blaze shell.

Thats the defender 90 shell. Looks really smart. The LWB one doesnt look anywhere near a good. Found a picture. Its a Kamtec, not a HPI like I thought
