Ouch! $219 (roughly 115) makes these the most expensive re-re yet.

Just done a quick compare of Jason's prices with those of Stella. I think Stella will probably offer the Hotshot for approximately $190 all in.

Can anyone read those cryptic asiatic signs?

Unfortuanately, no englsih version of the RCChamp website, however,

If you have any Qs for RC Champ, contact Masa at champ_international@yahoo.co.jp

Yes - RC Champ is by far the cheapest ! All that is required is that you emal them at champ_international@yahoo.co.jp with your request & postal address and they will send you the total with shipping. I've purchased several "big ticket" items through them with no problems.

My Hotshot pre-order has been in since the announcement of the rerelease. Cheers to RC Champ :).

Sounds like a bit of price gouging going on there. Certainly going to be a hot item.

Counting down the days to Hot Shot re-release from HK sellers... Apparently these sellers such as Stella should have them available in early August.

Gonna get me two as a birthday present to myself!

JR-RC has already dropped the price to $174 so I guess price will get closer to $120 as more stores will get it in stock. The release date is the same as my birthday -thats a sign from God (read: Shunsaku Tamiya) that I need to get one as well!

We got ours in today at work, and it looks pretty cool. Nice to see the Hot Shot again. There are of course a few differences but nothing to worry about.

Yeah, but almost everything is original if I read the details right.

They did not change too many things.......kinda like the Frog. So that is not too bad of a price then!

Thanks for the heads up Shodog.....I will be getting one next month then for sure!

I received my twins today!

For those of you that have received your kits, did you notice there 2 trees of the D Parts in the kit?

...AND and extra set of D1 & D9 knuckles (2 hole version).

Was beginning to wonder why my Hostshot was taking a while to come from RC-Champ......those lovely people from Parcel Force have sent me an Import Duty invoice for 28.62 Grrrrrrrrr

First time that this has happened to me, no better off than if I had bought from a UK seller now.......Never mind ;)

Hmmmmm also the first time (and maybe the last...) that I have used this seller.......

Ouch!! I feel lucky! I only ended up paying $11cdn (=5) in tax for a set of twins!

The box was crushed too, just to rub salt into the wounds......It has cost me about 14 more than buying from UK and I would have got an ESC included I expect too....I will never shop there again

I'm shocked to hear your shipping box? was crushed. I'm not sure what type of shipping box RCChamp used for your order, but I'm guessing it would have been the same box they used in my shipment. It's a sturdy corrugated box.

I don't think you can really blame the seller if it was packed in a proper box. You have to remember that shipments can get mishandled from point A to B by the shipping companies.

Yes I would agree about the shipping, just pointing out all the things that have gone wrong with my Hotshot purchase.

Ouch. that must be unusual. I have ordered the following from RC Champ & all have arrived in Canada in perfect condition:

  • Scania Full Option Kit
  • F350 High Lift
  • 2 Re-Release Hotshot kits
  • Tamtech Buggy
  • High Lift Multi Function Unit
  • and a few things I don't remember . . . .

That package must have had a rough ride :o . All of my above items arrived in perfect order.
